Our Story

Originally opened in 2018, Harvest quickly became a local favorite before a fire forced the space to close. After rebuilding and reopening in 2021, Harvest returned stronger and more rooted in the community than ever.

In 2023, Waco native Josh Hale purchased Harvest with a vision to preserve what made it special while refining the food, the space, and the experience. Since then, Harvest has evolved with a renewed focus on scratch made cooking, seasonal ingredients, and thoughtful options for gluten free and dairy free guests.

Harvest is rooted in hospitality and community. Throughout the year, Harvest hosts seasonal block parties, fundraisers, and private gatherings. We love our neighborhood and being part of this small, tight knit community.

Weekends can be busy, but that is part of the charm. While you wait, shop next door at The Carpenter’s Daughter, grab a coffee from one of the nearby cafés, or pop into the vintage shops along 25th Street. From time to time, Harvest also features handmade pottery drops from Toby of Marion Pottery, Josh’s partner, bringing another layer of local creativity into the space.

Located on 25th Street between Austin Avenue and Washington Avenue, drive too fast and you just might miss us.

Simple, intentional food. A warm, welcoming space. A neighborhood spot built to last.
